EVERY women on earth has split ends. It is normal and happens to the best of us- but we don't have to live with them. Keeping up on your trims is essential, an ionic blowdryer will change your life, and heat styling products give you extra protection. (check out my post about the causes of split ends here)

But when those inevitable split ends DO happen, there is a new sheriff in town that will give your hair new life. And the coolest part? The cost is low (usually $30-50 in salons) and it only takes 10 extra minutes with your hair service.

I am talking about the new Brazilian Blowout Split End Repair Treatment, and it is taking the world by storm.

I have been a big fan of Brazilian Blowout from the beginning, and their new Split End sealer is AMAZING. I could not wait to get my hands on in- and I was not disappointed.

The science behind it is really unique and you can see in this illustration, that the treatment not only seals split ends back together, it also thickens the strand with a protective coating.  cool eh!?!

The solution is brushed on to the last 2-3 inches of your hair, then it's blown dry and flat ironed in. The heat activates the ingredients, and causes the bonding action.

The result is instantly smoother hair- that looks healthier and shinier. You'll keep that healthy look for about four weeks before the bond breaks down. This is a great treatment for someone who is growing their hair, and is trying to stretch their time out between trims.

Or for someone like me who gets a rats- nest in my hair every day near the nape of my neck. This treatment helps hair lay down smother, so I don't get the twisting dreadlock action so easily.

If this looks like something your hair could use- you'll need to locate a Brazilian Blowout salon near you, and then be sure and call to find out if they offer the Split End treatment. It's fairly new to the market so it's not available every where yet. If you live in Utah like me, you can get this treatment at MOORE HAIR DESIGN in Salt Lake City.

Would you like to try this treatment? Let me know in the comments below- and don't forget to come say hi over on instagram @beautysnoop
